Electronics are another very important component for a guitar, since they optimize the Pickup’s output. However, it is just as important to use potentiometers of good quality (such as CTS) or hi-end pots.
Capacitors are also a fundamental part of the electronics. They are used basically for the regulation of tone. The capacitors are made in the vintage style of paper-in-oil and made by hi-end suppliers. (Jensen, Mundorf and others.) Use of these quality capacitors allow for a smoother, velvety tone, with an output much superior in comparison to traditional ceramic capacitors.
Guitars are usually equipped with a tone and volume control, and a switch. Switches can be toggle or rotary type (3 to 5 positions). The wiring should be of high quality. Every solder connection is covered with shrink wrap; isolating and preserving it from oscillations and possible contacts.
The guitar output jack is mounted at the tail piece mounting end of the guitar body. Going through the tail piece mounting block; it is also used to anchor the tailpiece.
